Love these lures!

.....headed to Belize Cost Rica for some bone fishing, always take some surge tube lures to throw at the 'cudas (when the bones aren't active) for fun. Nice twist on an old lure.......
The trout flies that you personally tied and gave to me were so real looking & acting that I almost did not want to use them in the water. Instead of fishing with them, I wanted to display them on my mantel. I cannot tell you the number of trout fishermen that saw your flies and were both amazed at their quality & attractiveness. However, I did use your flies and caught a trophy trout (28") the first time out on the Chestatee River in North Georgia. I have not thrown a Fred Manning fly into a stream or river that has not produced a strike and a catch. I have not tried your mackerel and pompano jigs (yet) but if they perform at only 1/2 the rate as your flies, the fish do not stand a chance. Based from my personal experiences I cannot wait to try your salt water jigs on my next visit to the Florida peninsular (which is coming up this spring)!...
We know how persnickety our yellowtail snapper are here over the reefs out of Islamorada but they seemed to like the strip bait hooks tipped with fresh pilchard strips we also caught a few blackfin tuna and some dolphin that answered the chum slick call, they also ate our (your) strip bait hooks.....Thanks
...I had the privelege to fish beside Fred Manning the past year in Florida and I can tell you that the mack attack technique will produce results. Fish after fish I watched him put on the pier. I also had good success using the technique. Thanks Fred for a great product!! R.Bowman
Fred's lures worked great for us in panama city beach. We killed the bonitas and spanish on the glass minnow and the anchovy jig. The pompano jigs are the best I have ever seen. The service is number one with great communication after the order and quick shipping.
Your jigs are the best looking ones I've ever seen, no joke, I can't find decent jigs anywhere on the MS gulf coast. The smaller teaser attachment is something I had been contemplating how to effectively do for a while, so I got pretty excited when I saw that you had already come up with a good set up. I mostly sight cast on the flats in 3-5 feet of water and your jigs look like just what I've been searching for. I'm planning a trip for next weekend and hope to slay 'em with those new jigs, I'll send some pics and let you know how I do. Thanks again!
......must have been twenty or thirty bobo's (bonitos) later when we finally put our rods in the holders to rest from the morning blitz of bonitos gorging on glass minnows. It was a hit as soon as the bubble rig glass minnow landed, the two and a half inch slim clear minnow really turned the trick. My friend only got two bobo's on a spoon when he switched..... we don't fly fish so the rig was the answer!.......
Thanks Fred, the Glass Minnow lure and Mack Attack jig worked awsome, fishing out of a kayak in the Outerbanks of NC, thanks......
